A beautiful glazed handmade reproduction of an Italian Yeast pot from Puglia. The originals are now hard to find (and about four times this price!). They were used to store fresh yeast in the warmth of the kitchen ready for making fresh bread.
A beautiful decorative item which is also very useful as a storage jar in the kitchen.
