Description
Beautifully made Acanthus Leaf Bookends from a workshop in South West England. These bookends are inspired by the designs of William Morris. He was significant figure in the Arts & Crafts movement during the late 19th Century in opposition to the growing industrialisation of Victorian Britain. A rebellion against the age of mass production. A return to traditional craft methods and “romantic” forms of decoration. This was inspired by the flora and fauna of the British Countryside.
